Cé go raibh daltaí an Ghaelcholáiste chun tosaigh ag leath ama, tháinig na buachaillí níos sine ar ais go láidir sa dara leath leis an bua a bhreith leo le scór amháin.
Thaitin an cluiche go mór le daltaí na scoile agus is cinnte go mbeidh go leor cluichí eile againn ar an pháirc céanna amach anseo agus is cinnte go mbeidh lá eile ag an Phaorach!
On a bright sunny October afternoon the Gaelcholáiste football team faced strong opposition in the shape of St Joseph’s College Derry City.
The Gaelcholáiste team were ahead at half time but the size and strength of the opposition proved too much to contain in the second half and the win eluded us by one score.
It was a very enjoyable afternoon’s sport and the first of many to be had on the Dungiven pitch, under the watchful eye of Benbradagh. The Gaelcholáiste students will hope to build on their performance in the months and years to come.
