Cuireadh tús leis an chlár ceoil i dtéarma 1! Tá Gaelcholáiste Dhoire ag obair le daoine áitiúla mar aon le mic léinn ó Ollscoil Uladh i nDoire chun córas ceoil a chur i bhfeidhm trí mheán na Gaeilge sa Ghaelcholáiste. Tá ceachtanna aonaracha ar fáil i 10 n-uirlis (amhránaíocht san áireamh!) agus tá an scoil ag cur uirlise ar fáil do dhaltaí atá ag foghlaim.
The sound of music was echoing through the castle corridors this term as the school music program got under way. Gaelcholáiste Dhoire has collaborated with both local musicians and students from Ulster University to offer individual lessons in 10 different instruments, with the instruments themselves provided by the school to pupils. You'll hear more about our tutors in the coming weeks!
We are very fortunate in having a dedicated team of specialist instrumental teachers who teach individual lessons in the harp, bodhrán, mandolin, piano, flute, fiddle, guitar, tin-whistle, accordian and singing, with pupils granted an opportunity to sit graded exams with the London College of Music which they can take through the school.
